Where I got my digital camera from.
The site that started it all off for me. Choose a Creative Zen MP3 player or £150 Paypal.
Works slightly differently from other sites, because you can do as many offers as you want, and it runs on a points system.
Yes, these guys are actually doling out Mac Minis to their users!

The basic principle of these sites is that marketers are getting so desperate to persuade people try their products and services, that they will actually pay people to refer friends.
What this means for you is that if you sign up to one of these sites, try a product or service mentioned, and get a few friends to do the same, they will send you your free item! (Which in my case was £150, and later on, a digital camera, but it could be an MP3 player, a games console, a phone or even jewellery and handbags.)

I persuaded a few friends to sign up, but it was quite difficult, because everybody naturally thought it was too good to be true.
Then I discovered the world of trading sites. There are a few listed here on the left. You can use them to find people who you can trade with to get your free stuff. This is known as getting 'greens' - a green means that somebody has completed an offer on your site.
There is another easy way of getting 'greens' known as 'joining a conga.' A conga is a list of users. To join a conga, you click on the link at the top of the conga to sign up to a site, thus giving the top person a 'green.' Once the person at the top of the conga has got all their 'greens' the next person in line moves up to the top. It's a good way of getting your stuff with very little effort.
